Random thoughts from a Baby Boomer

Welcome

On these pages you will find random thoughts from a baby boomer on common sense, aging gracefully, managing money in these difficult times and living in the moment.

This is just another step in my coming of age computer experience. Our first home computer was a little Simplex made by Timex - that’s right - the watch people. Every time you turned it on you had to spend hours reprogramming it. It performed simple tasks but it was more of a toy than a tool.  Needless to say it did not have the capability to communicate with other computers. The kids had fun playing with it but I figured that interest would soon die out (just like the metric system in the United States). Little did I know back then how much computers were going to impact my life. Now, here I am setting up my own blog and relishing the thought of communicating with Baby Boomer Bloggers around the world. I would like this blog to be a forum where we can discuss topics that are relevant to our generation. So, please grab a cup of coffee, sit back, read a few posts and join on the discussion if you feel like it.
